I think instead that one mourns when one accepts the fact that the loss one undergoes will be one that changes you, changes you possibly forever, and that mourning has to do with you agreeing to undergo a transformation the full result of which you cannot know in advance. So there is losing, and there is the transformative effect of loss, and this latter cannot be charted or planned.

Grief Recovery is an Adventure

Grief Recovery sessions are based on The Grief Recovery Method, a safe, evidence-based way for grievers to take effective and lasting action, no matter the type of loss experienced.
Grief Recovery can be done individually or in a group, with sessions offered in-person and virtually through Zoom. Sessions are once a week for 8 weeks. The investment is $399 (less than $50 a week) for skills that last a lifetime.
