What is PTSD Remediation?
Read the full story of my PTSD Remediation journey here!
In June 2019, I first heard about PTSD Remediation when a therapist told me that he could heal PTSD symptoms. No more triggers, no more nightmares, no more amygdala hijacking my brain and body.
“No, you can’t,” I said.
After considering his words for a year, I started this treatment in July 2020. By the end of September of that year, I had no more PTSD symptoms. I have not experienced any triggers since my own remediation.
PTSD Remediation is a technique that activates the vagus nerve to release pent up trauma responses from the amygdala and stop PTSD symptoms. This technique takes between 10 and 12 weeks. This treatment is simple and effective, centers around the breath, and can be done anywhere.
